gay men and lesbians deserve equal rights. Religion is a choice and yet religious people are specifically singled out for special rights in hate crimes, anti-discrimination, and equal access laws. Gays deserve the same rights that religious groups have.

Yes. All citizens should be able to practice whatever Church they want, and should receive equal rights from their State.

I don't know that sexual orientation is the same as religious freedom, but laws against gay marriage are unfair because they're based on religious beliefs. So I think that a good compromise would be allow gays to have legal marriage (i.e. go to the town hall for a license), and then churches could decide for themselves whether they want to hold religious ceremonies for gay couples.

Good question. I guess some people worship the flesh more than others. So, I think we could allow a separation between the state and sexual orientation. We could let women live with women and let men live with men. But, if you are talking about redefining the spiritual idea of marriage as a union between a man and a woman, I will have to disagree with you. The bible says that God made them male and female, not female and female or female, male and female.

Well, yes, in that citizens of all religions should have equal rights, so should citizens of all orientations.
