tara and terror definately are. but sara and sarah are the exact same.

For me - Sara and Sarah are the same. Tara and Terror are different.. I pronounce the 'ar' in Tara as I would the ar in 'car'.

Sara and Sarah are the same. Tara and Terror are totally differernt. Tara is kinda like Tear-ra and Terror is like Tear-or. Im not too good at the whole English thingy lol.

Sara and Sarah for me are totally different. Sara is pronounced sar-ra and Sarah pronounced sare-ra I've heard of Tara but not Terror as a name.

With Sara/Sarah, it depends. I've met Saras who were Sah- rah or Say-rah. Sarah is always Say-rah. Tara is Tah-rah, a bit like Farah (Fawcett). Terror is Terr- rorr. Very different.

I would say Sara and Sarah differently. Sara rhymes with car and the vowel in Sarah rhymes with air. And Tara is Tah-ra also like car, while the vowel sound in terror is eh which is different from ah. eh is also a short vowel sound while ah is a long one.
