While in Baja I went to see the gray whales that come down to have their babies. We were in a small motor boat and a mother whale swam along the side of the boat and came up right in front of me. She was larger then the boat was. She did it 3 times and the last time she stayed up long enough to let me reach out and touch her. Then she brought her baby to meet me. I won't say any more because it sounds ridiculous unless you know the whole story but it is true and fascinating and it had an incredible effect on me.

Many times, while driving on a small, two-lane, country road, you'll see a large Hawk sitting on fence post and scouting the bar ditch area, on each side of the road, for a wayward victim. I had been watching this large Hawk, up ahead, on the right side of the road and as I got closer, the Hawk started a dive, across the road to the bar ditch on my left. He had spotted something and was after it! His flight path cleared the front of my truck by about twenty feet, but he flew straight into the side of the pickup truck that was passing me and was knocked back into the center of my lane. Still alive, the Hawk staggered to his feet, just as I ran over him. I watched my rear-view mirrors to see if he survived and sure enough, when I spotted him, he was still standing. He wobbled around for a couple of seconds and fly away. I sure was glad I didn't kill him, because there was no way to miss him. Glad he went between the wheels!!

I found a tarantula in my kitchen and a snake several feet long in my hallway; but not BOTH at the same time ! LOL

I was sitting out in my back garden in North Island New Zealand, when a mosquito landed on my knee and was deciding where to bite me! As I sat and watched it, a small bright green stick insect suddenly flicked it's tongue out and ate it! Then it slowly turned and wandered back down the stem of my rose bush. As it went it's eyes were turning around in the sockets showing me it's ability to see 360 degrees around and it also polished off a few aphids in an act of defiance.

I found it to be odd that one of my pet girl mouse was humping one of my other girl mice. It's just that one. She won't hump her sister's in the same tank with her, just that one. I have 10 girls in one tank. Mom and 7 daughter and another Mom with 1 daughter. I have one lesbian mouse. That is odd to me.

Ft Richardson I was walking over to gear and alone the trail I all of a sudden felt something behind me and turned to see a moose and she licked me on the face and it was like sandpaper going across my face. I paniced and started to run and a man grabbed me and was laughing and the moose was just standing there looking. He told me not to be scared as she had been there for years and he cares for her. She let me pet her and the feeling of her was an experience. Of course my face looked like I had slid over payment.
