• +4. Good answer Thanks. Do you know if i have "contacted" the military in the US in the past, would I then have a file if i wrote they should consider a new device which i gave to them in detail in theory form. Would that mean i would now have a FBI or CIA file? Please reply. God Bless.

• try a Freedom of Information Request to the FBI. Why not, it would only cost you a 44c stamp and a couple of weeks of patience. I have to the CIA. Will you?

• I'd recommend talking to a Congressman. Write a letter detailing the account (including the case numbers, and copies of your correspondance). It's amazing how much more compliant bureaucrats become when they attract the attention of a Representative or Senator.

• Sometimes they investigate, thus creating a file, for employment screening, for some military and civilian jobs of a sensitive nature. No conspiring, lying or trying to harm anyone involved, at least by the person in the file.
