  • I am a healthcare professional and I work very closely with anaesthetists and I know that they have to be very dedicated to do the education and training which does take about 12 years. The course is very stressful and intense with long hours and because of this I feel that it would not be possible to train for the military at the same time as training to be an anaesthetist. Also when you qualify you have to keep up your hours to be eligible for board certification so I just feel that you may be taking too much on in wanting to do both but I do wish you all the best.
