I find them way too small yes, as I am 6'3" and 240 pounds. But conveinance is out weighed by the neccessity for the lack there of, meaning weight that is. Everything on a plane is designed to allow the maximum placement of the moneymakers, that of the space for passengers. All the rest is truly non relative to anything but providing something for the need, without sacrificing a single ounce for profit as well as safety. Sure, I'd love to have a nice lounge-like privy, and be able to do my sittin' need's if necessary with leg and shoulder room to spare as well, but don't expect any change soon, as where dollars to doo-doo is concerned, doo-doo always is gonna lose!. Interesting quandry, thanks, and peace!

space constarints. The airplanes have to be as light as possible and hence as small as possible. hence you can't afford the luxury of having spacious bathrooms ..

They want just enough room for people to BARELY do able to do what they can...ONE person at a time preferably, and not alot of mile high clubbers. So they keep them small. Plus space is for the paying seats, not the "throne."

Finances are the reason they are small, they are not being paid forand are taking up seat room I can see that large people may have a problem with them , but they are designed for one person NOT two
