No, your guitar will snap in 456 pieces. lol jk. Yeah it's ok, but it would annoy me because I find that whenever a string is broken on my guitar I always end up needing it more than normal lol

if your doing this cuz you cant aford a string i would sudjest not practicing anything...instead have some fun with difrent tunnings. make your own open chord just mess around, play with your teeth, get to know your guitar. enytime i busted a string and cant get a new set right that moment i always have fun by just messing with the tunning pegs until i hear somthing that sounds cool. good luck have fun
