I have a 1993 F150 and the brake lights do not come on right away when I push the pedal. I can actually stop the truck without the lights coming on at all. How can I adjust the switch?

The switch on my 87 did this as well. It wasn't adjustable, but was inexpensive and easily replaced. Replacement did the trick.

i would take and remove the switch then take the plunger and rotate it 180 and install it all back together again and that is what i did and it worked after doing all of the replacement parts and it made me feel like a complete idiot when i have restored my 1989 f150. so good luck and enjoy your lights working again
