I gave Jesus how great Thou Art 3 points back and of course I will be attacked for defending Jesus but this is just a site and Jesus is Lord. If Jesus was a lie, so what, you lead a moral life. But if Jesus is the truth and you call Him a liar, then you risk eternal hell. www.getsaved.com

I'm betting on it being a lie, but then again, you have to show the other lies credit as well, such as the other Abrahamic ones, Buddism, Hinduism, and even Scienctology.

Christianity served a useful purpose up to about 300 years ago. It controlled the behavior of the powerful. But its teachings on suicide also forced many worker-types to "stay in the game" even when in a hopeless situation. Its intolerant attitude to other religions or other sects of Christianity have caused many wars and persecution of harmless people. +5
