    My home desktop takes about 10 seconds before I see my desktop, work takes about 30 seconds.

    My laptop takes just under a minute, but that time includes the few seconds it takes for it to get past the POST and for me to enter by power-on password.

    My desktop takes closer to two minutes. Of course, that is mostly my own doing since I have *a lot* of stuff going on with drivers and extensions. I use it as the hub of our home LAN, as well as a few other things.
