What is a typical price per pound for a self service salad bar, and would you expect to pay more for nuts and dried fruits?

I think it depends on what city you are in. I have paid $7.99 locally, but when I go to Vegas I can pay $5.99 at a cheap place or $15.99 at a more expensive joint. And I've paid everything in between depending on the city I'm in. And the only thing I recall paying extra for was the drinks.
