I'm not a huge fan of the movie, but I've heard the best way to see 'Twister' is at the drive in. Also, I think Cast Away must have been better on the big screen, cause it's kinda boring on regular tv.

The recent remake of King Kong. It also qualifies as boring on regular TV.

I think all EPIC movies-- like Titanic Wizard of Oz [the 1st time anyway] Star Wars Saturday Night Fever even-- come on!

Any of the good science fiction movies like the Star Wars variety Things like Lawrenece of Arabia, Spartacus, The Ten Commandments, Dances With Wolves, Ben Hur, and others that are very panoramic in landscape and have alot of people in one scene. Older black and white movies benefit I think now with big screen, since they lack the color. So that would include things like Casablanca, Maltese Falcon, Gone With The Wind, etc.

End of the world movies like Armageddon Or scary movies- those are always the best at the theater.
