Does minor league games count? If so, than no. I'm not a ball chaser, though I did get one once in 2006. It rolled right to me, I just stooped, picked it up, and heard a group "aaawwwwww" from the crowd of chasers. I still have that ball.

I would say it depends on where your seats are, and how much beer you drink. If your seats are in a prime foul ball area, bring a glove.

  • No. People tend to forget that these guys are PROFESSIONAL Baseball Players. They hit and throw the ball with a velocity that most of us can only hope for.

The best thing to do is get out of the way of the ball, bat, or whatever's coming at you.

No. It would a complete waste to do so. Also, it may be dangerous for me to bring a glove because if a ball came flying, people may assume that I was going to catch it, which is false. I would duck and scream.

Nope. It would be a pain hauling it around and keeping track of it. And then, when the chance came, it probably would be at my feet.

Yes. I always debate before the game whether to take it. While it sometimes seems to be a bother, usually it works out for the best. Not only can you catch balls with it if you're lucky enough, but it's also handy to carry beers and dogs (especially if it's a first basemens mitt), fun to spit into and smack, keeps your hand warm if it's cold. Keeps your beer cold if it's warm. The possibilities are endless.

If I had one handy. I used to go to Marlins games when I was in Miami on nice days because it was $2. I don't really watch baseball, it's a bit long for me, but if it's a nice day out I'm all for it. Plus I get to trash talk, which is enjoyable.

I always get one of those disgusting hot dogs that you know are really bad for you, various nasty foods that I'd otherwise never eat, and some overpriced beer. You gotta do it up right, and I think a glove is part of that. That being said, if I didn't have one close by I wouldn't fret too much.
