this is a tough one. I'd say a variable turbochrger by Garret is the best way to go. minimal Lag, better than supercharger on high RPM.

Superchargers mostly reach RPMs of 30,000 to 70,000 this means that in order to achieve a bigger boost pressure you need a bigger supercharger while turbochargers can reach well beyond 100,000 RPM reducing their size/weight when giving the same boost pressure.

I would go with a turbocharger. If you do your own welding and customization you can save a lot of engine space with a turbo.
