you don't. It's just something you don't do. don't implant your political and enviromental views on your kids.

I do my part for the environment by not having kids :-P

I don't have any kids to teach. But it doesn't have to be a huge movement. Just little things. Get environmentally friendly bags at the grocery store instead of paper and plastic, using energy conserving light bulbs instead of regular, etc. Even if one person makes a small change...it helps.
