What is your definition of a golddigger? Would Anna Nicole Smith be included?

I am not sure Anna Nicole was a gold digger. I am not saying that she married the old rich man for love, but I would describe her more as a woman who took advantage of a very prosperous opportunity.

To me a gold digger usually describes someone who puts much more thought into hunting down rich men and sets up long term plans to end up with their money. I hate to say this about someone who is recently deceased, but I don't think Anna Nicole was clever enough to do all that. She was smart enough to see a pot of gold and get her hands in it, though.

I don't really have a definition of a golddigger. I guess a golddigger brings to mind business people who care only for the bottom line and evict the poor to put up new condos for the rich.

No, I do not consider Anna Nicole Smith to be a golddigger. She and her husband made an arrangement (you think his motivations in marrying her come from love, commitment, etc?), and that's between the two of them.

I would say a golddigger is someone who is with someone else just for their money. I wouldn't say Anna Nicole Smith was one because she didn't get any of the money from her late husband.

I am not into labels. I would not know if Anna Nicole Smith was a "golddigger" or not because I did not know her and I do not listen to rumors. Familiarity breeds contempt and those in the spot light are no exception.. so I do not believe the hype most of the time.
I do wish people could let the dead be dead and leave em be.
