I have been there, it was great for snorkeling. It was a great couple of weeks. I wouldn't go back as there are places much closer for snorkeling. I think that's what I liked best. There would be no jet lag either since Belize is in the same time zone.

Yes and YES! It is incredibly beautiful. The water was so pretty and clear and warm. Not at all like California's beaches.

Where about in Hawaii, Honolulu Airport? Is she with a tour group or friends? What do you want to know? She should schedule herself to se the Mormon Cultural Center. It's on the other side of the Island. Use the bus services, they sell tickets for them right in the hotels or on the street of Waikiki Beach. It's a whole day affair, so prepare for it. The day is spend going through all different little villages, and shows, how to climb a coconut tree, make fire and all the fun stuff. Bring your camera. At the end of the day, you have a choice of a Luau type food with all the dancing and stuff. or American Buffet style. I'd take the Hawaiian Food and learn some of the culture. Its fun. after the feast, to top off the day, there is a great Polynesian show, about 2 hours, nice outdoor/indoor type theater. Make sure goes to the Cultural Center. Do not drive, because you can get lost after dark there unless you are really familiar, plus it's safer. Any other questions, Let me know.

I would absolutely love to go. I am not sure it will ever happen though - because it is so far away and there are quite a few far-away beach resorts I want to go to a little more. If it was closer, I'm sure I would go often! Looks to be beautiful.

I was stationed aboard ship there in the 1950s and returned for a vacation in 1990 I have no reason to return there now...I would rather go to Costa Rica now.
