never. even in self defense situations, thinking of it as a "right" is dangerous. we have the right to protect ourselves, and the duty to protect our family. sometimes killing is necessary, perhaps even justified, but to say one person has the "right" to end a life devalues all human life.

I think you have the right to kill someone if they're trying to kill you or someone else. You have the right to defend life if someone is trying to take it from you. I also kind of think that people who are molested or raped don't deserved to be punished for killing their abusers. I'm not saying they have the right necessarily, but...*shrug* they're taking part of your liveliness away and it's just reprehensible. I wouldn't judge a person poorly for doing that, although I wouldn't say I 100% condone it.
