  • Safely? Doctors would recommend at MOST 12-18 pounds. Speak with your doctor for your specific recommendation.
  • About 20 pounds the most. It is not good if you lose too much weight within a short period of time. Take it slow.
  • It depends on how much weight you have to lose to begin with. If you aren't overweight or are only slightly overweight you will have a tougher time losing as much as if you are significantly overweight even following the same diet/exercise plan. Generally speaking, you can safely lose 1-2 lbs a week. So this means you can safely lose 6-12 lbs in a 6 week period.
  • The best weight loss system will take 2 pounds off a week. However if you really want to take a lot of pounds off you can take an average of 5 pounds off a week (more comes off at first). If you decide to do that, take water soluable vitamin supplements and prevent yourself from bouncing back to the higher weight after you attain your lowest weight. Good luck.
  • 18 lbs MAX! 12 pounds would be a more realistic and safely attainable goal though.
