Ask a question about Toddlers Should I worry about my 3 year old who hasn't put on any weight or increased in height for 9 months? He is developmentally 'normal' in all other ways

    Not necessarily. Pretty much everyone I know has had the same experience with their 3 to 4 year old. My son gained no weight in the year between those birthdays, and whenever I noted it to other moms, they typically had the same story with their children. My son is still very high on the "chart" for height and weight.

    If there's reason to be concerned based on his overall health, any strange symptoms, or if he's very underweight in general, then you could check with your pediatrician to see what they think, but I wouldn't personally find it cause for alarm. It seems typical from what I've seen.
