At the quantum level, everything we think we know about time goes to hell in a handbasket. Since the quantum level of physics is the basis for the rest of our reality, and no one really knows what the hell is going on there, the only answer must be: We have no fricking clue. Maybe, maybe not.

Temporal Mechanics is still a very young branch of physics and has very little that is fully understood ... Time appears to be passing in a mostly linear way, but unconfirmed theories do allow for loops and tangents ... while it is certain that time can have some slight fluctuations, these fluctuations are not yet understood ... it is still very uncertain if time can be reversed ...
