I don't think this is a conscious decision by the wearer. It is a no decision in most situations because the wearer usually doesn't know what is coming and the furtherest thing from the mind is the bra. It is other things on their mind that results in the straight jacket.

well that depends, if you plan on doing a lot of manic jumping about hysterically then yes, i wold advise you to wear a wide-strapped bra to minimise bouncing :D

You can probably find them at a local running store (or I'm sure the company could help you locate a retailer). My famous quote is, "They hold you tight like a straight-jacket and don't let you go!" It feels a little strange at first because it's unlike any sports bra out there, but the dozen hooks in the front make it heavenly to put on; no more trying to wrangle a bra over the breasts.
