I've had quite a few of my rejected questions reinstated. I am curious, does the person who originally flagged you keep their moderation points after I appealed, and AB agreed it should not have been an "approved flag" and reinstated the question?

I can't really tell you if they get to keep them or not, however I think they do but also it goes on their record in case it becomes an everyday thing in which case they will remove a bunch of points all at once. I have only seen the staff remove points once and it was in the thousands and that member is no longer a member.

As the staff approved the flag at first, I think that it would be fair to let the flaggers keep their points, but this is just my opinion.

I would love to have the ability to directly ask the moderators questions. I have had the most ludicrous reasons for getting flagged. I asked a perfectly normal question and it was flagged as nonsense obviously by some nut who did not like me. I don't care, but I want to be heard when this happens.
