I'm not disgusted by nudity at all. I think the human body is a work of art and wonder. Admittedly, as we get older and things start to wrinklte and flab and sag, it's not as pretty as new born babies bums.

Well Origionaly we (man) did not think of things as such, We were innocent. (animal) We (""adam and eve or whatever) (bit the apple) Obtained Knowledge ! Became capable of Reasoning and independant thought (origional sin "" ) so we noticed we were nude. since then, we made up our own rules of right , wrong and moral pertaining to nudity. so we have no one to blame but, us !

It is not the nude form that is disgusting. It is the thoughts that the nude form can inspire that are disgusting. It is when the nude human form is used to inspire inappropriate sexual thoughts that the problems begin. If all people were to simply look at the nude form simply for its beauty, then there would not be a problem. However, there are many people who take such images much further. It is part of our nature. We are sexual animals. When sexuality is expressed within the proper bounds, then there is nothing wrong with it. However, when sexuality is expressed in inappropriate ways, it can be quite destructive. Viewing of the nude human form can (it does not have to) lead to in appropriate sexual behavior. What one sees when viewing the nude human form is largely up to the individual.

All mammals are born nude,aren't they? We are just the only one's that think we need the latest fashionable clothing....;) I don't look at it with disgust at all. If the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil actually is a factor,I also do not think it is a sin until we decide it is,meaning,we now get to see all good points,and all bad points of something and then make an informed "choice". Just because Adam and Eve saw they were nude and wanted to cover up,does not make it a sin. Why people "choose" to look at nudity as a bad thing or as a sin is anybodys guess.It is totally natural,but then so is breastfeeding.....and thats another topic.

I don't think most people think human nudity is disgusting. I think most people just want it to be viewed for the beautiful thing it is and not the sexual trash that some people try to make it out to be.

Well I'm an American and I do NOT find human nudity disgusting as a matter of fact it's one of nature's most beautifull forms except maybe when we get fat and old BUT most of our women used to walk around bare breasted, there was no if any rapes, few murders, theft was NOT something you did and most wars were bloodless, until someone came along and showed us a better way of doing things, now we have all those things Plus a level of induced self hatred especially of women by these very same people that showed us that "BETTER WAY" after all it's was really all womens fault because it's says so in this here book and IF you would just read it you would see it's true, then we will all be brothers and hate women and our bodies and anything else that is EVIL and if you doin't know what that is, it's right here in this book and IF you would just read it you would see it's true ... . some Social norms are just learned behavioral insanity .. . ~Nemo~

I don't think nudity in general is disgusting, because it is completely natural. But things associated with nudity like men looking at women in the wrong way because of the skin showing and stuff. It just creates a different perception. We've created this thing where covered women are reserved and appropriate and women who reveal skin are whores or sluts (a certain extent of skin). And I keep referring to females because there's a double standard in our society. People created this image that showing skin is a sign of selling yourself in a way and eliminates any sense of honour or dignity in a person. I'm not sure, what do you think Sublime?

I became friends with a girl from Spain at school and we both worked in the book store. Over the 2007 Christmas holiday semester break I went home with her to Granada for a little over a week. On the beaches there it's clothing optional, actually nudity is legal anywhere in Spain, so we went to a section of beach where everybody was either topless or totally nude. Adults and kids in family groups, teenagers walking in the surf totally nude, a real culture shock for me but I soon adjusted and enjoyed this new freedom. The one thought that I could not get out of my mind was that, I am from the "Land Of The Free" the good ole' USA, but I had to go to Spain to experience this kind of harmless freedom. My hope is that someday soon we may get past our silly prudery and learn to enjoy life a little bit more.

nudity is looked at with disgust bc of ignorant and immature people. the human body is a beautiful thing and should be looked at with wonder. we are born nude bc UPS doesnt deliver clothes to wombs...(yet) lol ;)

Do you have any idea how expensive those wombs are that can grow baby Armani suits? Most women can't afford to have one of them installed! So they just have to go with the "no frills" alternative.

I think having clothing in the womb would be a little over the top and would make birth even more complicated... as newborms we were a diaper but wearing one now would be... funny to say the least... could be also disgusting...
