I watched the film, and much as I like reading I don't think I will ever read the book :-)

YES I finally read it!!! the new translation by Pevear and his wife is the best........I started it when I was in high school, in 1959!!!!!!! so it only took me 50 years to read it........but it was worth waiting for this really wonderful translation.....once you start it, it's not as difficult to read as you would think..........read it.......your life will be richer for it!!!!!!!!!!!
