  • It upsets me. But then again it makes me want to do more! . "racist, bigotted and treasonous" Is that what most uneducated democrats say when they know they are wrong?
  • I'll first start with a little background. I was, and still am a soldier, and always will be. I support anyone who is defending our Constitution (as I always will), founded by our forefathers. As for "racist, bigoted and treasonous," I laugh, because now the government is actually getting a little scared because of Americans who are standing up for our Constitution. Change is coming, but I don't believe it'll be what Mr. Barack Obama had intended. +3
  • Umm, I don't get it...it was a protest against high taxes, how is that racist? I also note several different skin colors in that video.
  • Am I surprised? No. Am I mad? Maybe a little irritated but not mad. The people who are saying these things are the same ones that will shout you down if they don't agree with what you are saying. They are the people that throw pies in the face of a speaker that they don't agree with. They are the people that call you names when what you say makes better sense then them. When you have 187,000 Americans gathering together across the country to speak about government waste and spending, that tells you that we are tired of it.
  • It's the start of things to come.
  • Haven't had much time to watch them. And, I do hope that I am understood when I say that I do not understand all of the issues completely. When I did watch some of the tea party, I heard nothing about "racism, bigotry or treason". I don't know where this came from. All I heard was that it was not about left, right, republican or democrat but about the way our taxes are being spent. They talked about both President Obama and former President Bush - they weren't blaming just Obama. I would like to see the specific quotations and/or links that would support the views that you mentioned. What I heard (and maybe heard wrong) was that the government in general seems to be getting to much control. By answering this, this doesn't mean that I support the tea parties because honestly, at this point I am looking at both sides of the issues involved and trying to sort it out.
  • It's just standard protocol really. When someone attacks the power structure, throw out any lies you can in an attempt to discredit, undermine and distract from the attackers campaign. They know it's all BS, they're just hoping something will stick.
  • like the they are the Pot calling the kettle black.....they are unpatriotic, hypocrites, troublemakers.....dramatist.and shallowminded idiots....as bad as the media just wanting a story, no matter the facts....very dishonest and untruthful..... now u put these in a protest and see who swings first...and swear up and down the opposer swung first...low characters..:0justme
  • Highly annoyed!
  • It is the typical reaction of those who see their own personal and philosophical gain from a government, totalitarian and thus oppressive, ruling over the Nation, rather than the people ruling the government. It's a distressing trend, one of intimidation, that seems to be gaining in our Country from the left and far left, i.e., socialism and communism. It's happened in many other countries, as well...all leading to enslavement and uniform poverty of the people...EXCEPT, of course, to the political enslavers, themselves. So-called "Tea Parties", and similar demonstrations of discontent, CAN disrupt that trend. May they continue and grow even larger...if we have any hope of remaining free and independent of tyrants who ignore the will of the people. +5
  • Liberals, and the liberal media are the racists, the intolerant, the hypocrites, the disingenuos haters and they have found their greatest weapon to be attacking real American values and principles as often and as visciously as possible. They have discovered that far too many Americans have chosen to no educate themselves about the truth, just rely on what they hear on the news and what they learn in public schools. It appears to be a very effective way to undermine and destroy everything America has stood for. It's working. Someone who wholly buys into this Anti-American mentality was elected President. It's beyond scary now. It's to the point it will take a grassroots awakening of real Americans to save the country. I pray the recent Tea Party's are an indication that is happening.
