I find it very soothing. I used it as background music for a slideshow of old names I posted on youtube.

Inspire me may not be the right term for me. I can see why people can be inspired by this piece though. There is a lot going on here. I was really surprised reading the score and listening at the same time. There's no indication that I saw on the score for tempo. So I was surprised by how slow the eighth notes were. I also noted the violins adlibbing trills occasionally. To me this is a very soothing, restful piece of music. Thanks Marguerite!

Inspire me to do what? To attend a Latin Mass? Maybe, I haven't been to a Latin mass since I was a kid! To write an orchestra work with vocal? Probably not, that is too ambitious for me. To master my instrument? Perhaps - I play guitar, and I do enjoy playing some Bach pieces. Does it inspire me to sing like that? No, I may be a classical guitar player, but when it comes to singing, I am strictly folk and folk rock! It is a nice mood piece to listen to on a quiet day, isn't it?
