  • why doesn't she like this? perhaps you should talk to her about this issue. if sleeping in the same bed w/ you makes the kid feel better, then why not?
  • This is bad parenting on your bf's part. The 4 yr old cannot have bad dreams EVERY night, ALL night long. He may have initally had some bad dreams, and then got to sleep with you both, and now he/she has figured out how to get something they want to occur. Do you enjoy having him interrupt your alone time with your bf? This is not normal. The mother doesn't like it which says it's bad too. She IS the mom, and deserves a say. My best guess is that your bf and yourself do not have much experience with kids. Here's what you can do the next time a "bad dream" occurs: 1. Comfort 2. Send back to his/her own room. 3. Repeat. Good luck!
  • Free anatomy clases, he isn't complaining about you is he? I believe mum is usin an excuse to cause trouble, unless you guys are having sex in front of the boy. That sort of thing causes nightmares.
  • Well i wouldn't like the thought of ANY adult in bed with my child, couldn't you just respect his ex wife's wishes and perhaps if the child wakes after a bad dream, you instead take the kids bed and let the boy sleep in with his dad, I'm sure that will ease conflict but you really have to think how you'd feel in that situation too, i mean there are all sorts in this world, she's not to know you're a good person.
  • you're a naughty girl aren't you. No no don't get agry. I like that. You should respect the mum's wishes though or before you know it,youu'll be looking for a new crib. Trust me the mom always wins.
  • Let him grow out of it , make him feel safer till the point he knows there is nothing to fear, it was just a dream . I would get another bed in our bedroom , if my ex did not want our child to sleep in the same bed as us Radio walkie talkie? don't force him to do something let him grow to do it . Teach.
  • By allowing him to continually to come into your bed ; you are ENABLING him to "Have Bad Dreams" ... just so he can get into your bed .... Best thin g is to calm him down and then sit with him in his room until he is back to sleep ... +5
  • well if you or his father just go to his room with him and well here is a great trick just start humming a pieceful melody until he goes to sleep and it has to be the same one over and over and that way after a couple weeks it is a slow process you can just tell him that all he needs to do is sing the song or something of that concept
