Rotten Tomatoes is a page where they take all the major movie reviews all across America and put them into one grade so you can better see how bad, or good a movie really is. Norbit, got a 10% positive rating. It stinks. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/norbit/ I can guess this is going to be another lame failing-black-comic-in-a-fat-black-girl-suit movie where they take on every fat cliché cartoon-effect thing... AGAIN.

I have not seen it, nor do I plan on seeing it, but boy have I been hearing about it. Eddie Murphy's character Rasputia in Norbit is large and boisterous — and has sparked anger and outrage. To some, they are endearing comic exaggerations; to others, they're an insult. One side of the debate over the plus-size heroines casts them as sisters of the bold and brassy women played by Monique and Queen Latifah. The other sees them as being closer to the "mammy" stereotype that once prevailed in American popular culture. Also being considered is how the images affect real-live black women who are overweight. Isn’t this “Black History Month in the U.S.? Why would Murphy release this film now? It was a good way to kill and hour while it was too hot outside yesterday while waiting for a party to start. The Norbit character reminded me of a black Woody Allen
