'ghd' are widely accepted as the best. Most salons use them, and I've never had a better pair of straightners! They are quite expensive though, typically around £90. Definitely worth the money, especially if you have really wavy hair. See http://www.ghdhair.com/ for more info.

GHD for me. I've had all sort of brands but these are the best I've ever used.
