• 2-seaters do seem to attract more gay buyers. Just an observation. Mazdas usually are great fun to drive.

• I've never driven anything on 4 wheels that's more fun than a Miata.

  The genius isn't in the performance envelope, the genius is in how Mazda made driving the Miata at semi-sane near-street-legal speeds *feel* like you're doing the Targa Florio.
  .
  Yet the car (unlike hard-core performance cars like the Lotus Elise) can be lived with everyday. The ride doesn't punish you. They're about as reliable as an anvil. They get decent fuel economy. They are even fairly inexpensive.
  .
  If I didn't have a motorcycle to fill the Miata "role", I'd love to get one again.
