there are many verses for many situations. If I believe i'm being mistreated i know, for starters, these four things: Jesus was mistreated alot worse than this; He still loves this person; it is not up to me to judge; God WILL judge and repay all evil, so i don't have to. this is only one example. When having fruitless discussions because people just don't want to listen or think about what i say, eventhough i try to listen to them, i realize what Jesus said about many people being blind to the truth, even when He showed beyond doubt that it was truth, and i remember what the bible says about people becoming more "wise" and therefore more ignorant

Well, the person who answered the question gave an excellent answer, but I wanted to add something that I found that I like a lot...... "Every wrong deed in the universe will be either covered by the blood of Jesus, or repaid justly by God at the final Judgment" God is the judge, so we can just sit back and let Him take care of it in His own timing. :)

In the Bible it says to anger slowly and forgive quickly. One of the verses is James 1:19
