  • Honestly, Loggy, I find that the people I'm around are very out of touch with things and tend to act as they aren't. I've heard some of the dumbest comments come out of their mouths. I really don't keep up with them too much myself so I tend to try not to get involved in conversations about them and I don't really want to listen to Clueless Clive talk about something they know little about. I had a guy telling me what Iraq and Iraqis were like. He's about 37 and lives with his mom. He's never had any life experience and he's telling me, a guy who served a year in Iraq how it is.
  • 100% of the ones with whom I discuss politics, which would be my family/friends. Except for Jim's son (part of the "loyal opposition") we're all on the same page and all watch the same cable political shows so we keep on top of stuff daily. :) With casual acquaintances we never get into politics or religion or any of the "good" stuff..we talk about the weather and the good sales at the supermarket and what our kids are doing! :)
  • Everyone of them except me. I don't like politics basically. Its all corrupt, wicked and hardly we find good people making a difference which can happy only once in a century or so, and goes down in the name of revolution or renaissance.
  • Unfortunately very small... Those who know and understand the political issues of today are far too few I'm afraid.
  • about .5 I would say, the folks I run into have no care for politics. its frieghtening, Ill bet they care when the police (who have been federalized and receiving armored personel cariers to fight "crime") are draggin us out into the street or into camps. mainly though I feel for Atlanta.
  • Everyone =) It is necessary for my MA, so all my peers do. I volunteer at an international organisation (so necessary for that too), and my friends all have the same academic background as me where we developed our interest/understanding of political issues together. I love it! I think I would bore the average person to tears!
