Most states have lemon laws so if you have a all the info about her and the car you should be able to set everything straight but check with a local lawyer. Some have free or low cost consultation.
What do you do?
Accept the loss, learn the lesson and start looking for another car.
Hey, I know the feeling, got "Partially" burned on a sale, but the car lasted so long, I made out ok finally.
Three things I do when buying a used car.
1. Long drive check for Overheating.
2. DEG (Smog test) No pass? NO SALE!!
3. Clear title. Lost? Can't find? NO SALE!!
The mechanical is different. I bought a used van and 3 days later, the tranny went out..Oh well, $750 more out of pocket.

You're reading I bought a car from a private seller. A couple of days later took it in and found out the smog was fake and the odometer had been rolled back over a hundred thousand miles. I was also told it needs a new motor. The girl blocked my number. What should I do

Good answer. However, most state 'lemon laws' do not apply to 'private sellers', only to 'commercial establishments' (ie, new & used vehicle dealers). As suggested, ck. with atty. &/or sue.

This is true for the "lemon law" but the laws they have on the books can help your case even in a "private seller" case.
