Some coward DR you, why can they not say why! I consider them to be both great actors but Harrison has the edge as he adds humour to his characters. BTW I gave you a +3 wish it was more to cancel DR.

I dont think it's a case of one being worse than the other. I see both of them coming across as awkward ~ not very relaxed at all . Maybe they're not natural actors. That said, I will just about go out of my way to see movies with either of them in it! I love the movie "Message in a Bottle", "Dances with Wolves" and "The Fugitive".

I think you'll find that Costner starred in worse films. I mean, the Postman?!

Thanks for your response. I agree with you about Kevin Costner but Harrison Ford drives me nuts when I watch him. Not much of a stretch. He is virtually the same man with different names in each of his films. He acts with his Adams Apple. Watch him some time and you can see what I mean.

It's hard for me to be objective since I like Harrison Ford and Kevin Costner is, well, okay. I guess it's a tossup. But the alltime worst was John Wayne. :)

I never liked Kevin Costner's acting. He always seems to BE the same character no matter who he's playing.

It would be a harder question if it was Costner and a bag of wet sand....
-
Oh! I just "love" them both! Sorry!

Well since I love Harrison Ford,I'd have to say Kevin Costner. But he's good too in Dances With Wolves. My fave HF movie is Witness:)

Can't get into Costner. He played Robin Hood without an English accent for one.

I think both men are very competent actors. Their big problem is getting in movies that they did not belong in. For years I thought Paul Newman sucked because I saw Silver Chalice. Then I learned that he took an ad out in the Los Angeles begging people to ask for their money back and his sincere apologies. So, don't judge them on their bad choices, rather give them accolades for the good stuff they have done. Harrison Ford can be very powerful and very watchable. So can Costner. When he is good, he makes it look effortless. See Mr. Brooks. I loved him in that and that Graceland flick where he plays the psychopath was wonderful.
