- [ This is a great song for me, and I like Perri's voice style. But, BOY! Those dancers behind her in the video are godawful! Terribly WAY, WAY over-the-top choreography in my opinion.
  Perri should have been the focus of this video. She's a better actress than these Show-Off Dancers.
  In the midst of the hyperventilating dancers, quick clips of Perri show her in short images of honesty that actually fit the lyrics. :) ]

It's weird that I came across your Q today: I borrowed this Singing In The Rain DVD & on it were the original performances of the songs. So my answer is totally antique: Elinore Powell's rendition of Broadway Rhythm in the finale from Broadway Melody of 1936! And what a fantastic tap dance performance, too!
