I have to say John Cleese because his was such a physical, at times OTT comedy style - see Fawlty Towers! He was so good you could often see Palin trying his best not to laugh in some sketches.

Graham Chapman. I think he was the brains behind a lot of their comedy, though Cleese and Palin were more visible as actors.

Michael Palin.

John Cleese has had some really hilarious sketches. The Dead Parrot, The Argument Clinic, The Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, his Tim the Enchanter scenes. But my personal favorite he did was the fresh fruit sketch. RELEASE THE TIGER!!!
