That is an interesting question. Do you mean that it is hard for people to live up to it, or do you mean that you think it should be easy?

because it is hard. Jesus himself acknowledged the difficulty of living a true Christian life. it's a life involving sacrifices, difficult decisions, and that oh-so-painful thing called forgiveness. you have to learn to control yourself. if anyone thinks the life Jesus and His disciples lived was easy, they should probably reread the NT.
