Is the question you stated the SDA stance on this? Personally i dont think you can apply all scripture as Black and white or absolute truth, you have to understand the context and the historical setting of the time as you interpret it. So depending on the topic some parts will be absolute truth and some would be relative truth.(not that i agree with the definition) Ex: women shouldn't speak in church or they must have the head covered i think you needd to understand that that is not absolute truth a need to know the context at the time. relative truth i don't believe in, its like situation ethics whats right for me may not be right for you, i don't believe our church teaches this and would support absolute truth over relative
