If you think about it, The View does its part to stereotype women as well. By their content, they're providing their female fans parameters by which to format their personalities, which is that of the stereotypically insecure, man-bashing, woman. And it's not just women either. Consider the roles of the African-American hosts. Consider shutting off the TV and read books. I thought that was a stupid idea once, but then I started reading. After you start, you'll wonder why the hell you ever watched TV to begin with. TV does to the brain what cigarettes do to the lungs, and they (the media) joke about it to our faces. YOU MIGHT FIND IT FUNNY, but the very basis of the commercial is true as long as Corporate Hulu is concerned.
