Question

Help answer this question below.

I gave my 30 day notice on March23rd. Does that mean I can vacate on March 21st? My leasing company told me the prorated rent amount and I paid it. Now the owner is saying I owe 2 more days of rent to get to the 23rd?

Assuming that you meant vacate April 21st, 23 + 30 - 31 (days in march) = April 22. You can't count March 23. And you have to pay for April 22.

Read your question again, If you mean March 23 to April 21. It is 30 days, but alot of people condider a 30 day notice from March 23 until April 23. They do not count every day for some reason.
