I Have a 1991 Ford Tempo FWD and i need to add transmission fluid, but i cannot find where to add or check the fluid. Can anyone help?

There will be a dipstick in a tube (very similar to the stick & tube for the engine oil) leading to the transaxle. The fluid is added into the tube (best to use a tapered funnel). Add only in half-qt. increments 'til 'full' per stick. Check at N.O.T. with engine running.

For an automatic there will be a tube with a dipstick. For a 5-speed you will have to undo a filler bolt and pour in the recommended amount.
