  • What about Satan? How do you think he feels when you ppl forget about him? Poor..poor Lucifer :(
  • i'm not sure that it will make a difference...i think people will draw further away from him regardess of the economy.
  • Both. People who would have never thought about stealing or stripping or selling drugs will, and people who are at the end of their rope and want the best for their family will show up one sunday in a church pew.
  • Closer in my opinion. Historically, when chips are down, and man-made (or self made) solution just don’t seem to cut it, we do turn to God for answers. Just think of the difference if we would do the same before we get us self in the mess. in Christ..
  • I'm gonna have to agree with both depending on the individual.
  • Irrelevant. There is no god to get close to or draw away from.
  • it's not the economy that drawing people away from God, It,s sin they are slaves to their own sins.
  • Should not change a thing if God is in one's life
  • History clearly shows that, generally, people draw closer to God during bad times and drift away from God during good times. With love in Christ.
  • Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or dstress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:38,39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • Depends on the person and their beliefs. If they are a Christian, then they know that this is only the beginning.....according to the Bible, things are going to get much, much worse until we get to the Tribulation, and the coming of Jesus Christ. It should be drawing Christians CLOSER to God, relying on Him to strengthen them in these times. On the other hand, the people who don't really believe in God, or whose faith is very weak-they will probably draw further away because they are not TRUSTING in the "end result", which will be to be with Jesus in Heaven! Those people will embrace the antichrist, who will bring peace into this chaotic time.
  • I would hope so! He is the only constant that we have, our solid rock, and people should lean to Him! The mistake that people often make, is thinking that God will just make it all better, and make us all rich, or bless us with nice homes and cars. But that's not the reason that should draw us to Him. The beauty is that even when our lives are crashing down around us, we have a constant peace knowing He is with us, and will always be.
