I have found that people who have children so disruptive and undisciplined that other people finally get fed up enough to say something about it, really get offended. This continues as they get older too. True story: I was driving down a high way outside of Washington DC and saw one of my friend's teenage sons being chased at a high speed by Maryland police. The police car actually lost control because the speed was so excessive. When I got home to Virginia I called my friend to let her know what had been going on and she and her husband BOTH got angry that I'd called. (Keep in mind, these are both professional business owners. She owns 3 dance studios in the metropolitan area and he owns a large trucking and transport company.) They didn't want to know. This particular kid was cited for excessive speed several times and finally got caught in the state of Maryland after he turned 18. He ended up spending his summer after high school graduation serving time in a Maryland jail.
