Yes! Right after highschool graduation I loaded my car with camping supplies and just started driving. I was on the road for a couple months, but I had my dog with me for protection and company. I had wanted to go up to Montana that spring but the camping got sooo cold in Wyoming I sped to California instead! Lonliest time of my life.

Yes, a lot!!! New Zealand is the best place to do it. Just you, gorgeous coutryside and peace around. I have found many great walks there, some for a few days, some for a week...RECOMEND IT
