  • No. The case has been heard and the jury knows far more details about the case - including the negative effects to the parties - than does anyone drafting any single law. We have a jury system for civil lawsuits, and I don't see any particular reason to exempt a certain segment of society, or modify our system for them. I also get a bit confused as to what standards one uses to label a lawsuit "frivilous" if it convinced a jury (who has heard the facts extensively) that it wasn't.
