I didn't read your link but I do believe The US of A is behind the times.

About damned time. Now if California can just follow suit things will be looking up. Georgia too. My gay nephew lives in Georgia.
-
I feel fine about those developments. About time if you ask me
-
Encouraging. It's time to end human rights for just some in the US. +5

About damn time.

Seems like maybe it is realistic to think that all humans can have human rights instead of just one group of them.

It seems like maybe it's realistic to think that all humans can have equal rights instead of one group of them.

Oh golly goodness gumdrops! I guess that means my and my wife's marriage of several decades is now in jeopardy because a bunch of gay folks want to have equal rights! I guess I'd better start shopping around for a divorce lawyer!
-
Washington DC also voted to recognized same sex marriages from other states. It's been a GREAT week for equality in the US!
-
Not good.
-
I think it is so AMAZING! I can't wait for the day when gay marriage will be legal EVERYWHERE! It is so fucked up that some people fell that they have the right to deny marriage rights to anyone. As a Californian, I am so disgusted that gay marriage was made illegal!
-
Wedding cake sales are up
-
I'm finally glad we acknowledge gays as equals in at least SOME states.
-
I am very pleased with these developments. Actually, I'm thrilled!
-
CONGRATS!! GO and get married before it gets reversed....the idiots of the world are probably thinking up the next move.
-
Now if we could just eliminate discrimination against atheists.
-
I think its wonderful news! However, it took them long enough.
-
Okay...
-
Seems like homosexuals should have the right to be as miserable as everyone else.
-
<yawnnn>

One thing I don't get is why anyone needs marriage, other than tradition. Where I live we have common law. All the same rights and what not as married people. Like I said in my other answer. The US of A is behind the times. Big Time.
-
I think it is excellent that everyone gets the same rights. No lets see how long their marriages last. Another real plus is that it must be driving the religious right absolutely crazy.
-
Everyone deserves equal rights. No more rights than others, no less rights than others.
-
It's just one more step toward the inevitable legality of gay marriage. Whether you agree with it or not it will happen. Look at how far gay rights have come in the last 30 years...the word "Homosexual" wasn't allowed in print in a lot of publications....and look at us now.
-
It is just the inevitable evolution of the legitimacy of gay marriage..It will happen..It is just taking a little longer in the US than other parts of the western world.
