I seem to have been on 54 for an ice age. Does anyone else get bored and dispondent when they don't seem to be moving up the Answerbag ladder?

LOL, I felt that way everyday when I walked into my office and turned the lights on! It feels like I'm not moving up the Corporate ladder very fast. But I made a change, and so do you, if you'd like to see different results. +3

The higher you get the longer it takes to make progress. I've been on 56 for weeks I think.. and as i do not have any point fairies blessing my every action, it takes time to pick up 2000 points... I suspect I'll completely lose interest before leaving sagedom

Bored? You need to take a break from AB. Despondent? Because of levels on a cyperspace social site? Surely you joketh. It takes longer as you progress. More points to get to a higher level. At this rate you will be bored and despondent every day. I say shake it off..do something else. Are you here for points and levels or are you here to exchange ideas/information/opinions with others? If the former, then you will become a frantic points robot..if the latter, isn't that your reward? :) I'm sure you're teasing my friend..you can't possibly be serious! :) ((hugs))

I dunno. Seems like you'd be a lot better off by listening to Rosie's comment above (she's a real gem, by the way). Mine? Years ago I KNEW I had gotten somewhere on this site by completely and totally forgetting about the rating system and enjoying the communication between questions, answers and, more than anything, getting to know the 'players.',

Just forget the ladder. When you reach that level, you can give the maximum ratings, just the same as a Maestro or anything higher. So you can just appreciate the points that you get as a feedback, and enjoy asking and answering questions. I think they made the growing levels always more difficult to get because they did not want users to concentrate too much on them at that stage. So even the users who are really interested in collecting points or those who are very popular or those who have been there long enough will still come forward until they also reach a stage where it just take too much to get a new level that they concentrate on this anymore. Anyway, you have only "95 pts until lvl 55", so I guess that you will get there in a couple of days. At my level, I need weeks to get through a level.

yes so heres +3 to yah all. i try to think about it as a point thing but helping people. i come and go on AB some times it seems like there is nothing but silly questions out there and other times i feel like i might have helped some one.
