However I do have a bad habit of saying the wrong thing to people. I do know I have improved in this area a lot however I still do it. I am just an average male 48 years old and I can't seem to break this disease. I do believe I have learned it from dad.

You are new here (Welcome!) so I will give you a little hint. Don't ask new questions to keep a conversation going. Go back to your original question and add comments to the answers to your question. If AB won't let you comment yet, add a new answer, addressing it to the person to whom you are commenting. I know that some folks aren't able to comment during the first few hours after they join, so it can be a little confusing to know how to keep a conversation going.

I do the same exact thing. U just have to try to think before you speak and just be honest with ppl that u tend to say the wrong thing or it comes out wrong. People respect honestly alot more even its neg. Everyone has flaws or some difficulties in some way or another.
