Any rule against 1 person giving 2 different answers to the same question,getting 12+ pts.for Both,when only 4 total answers were given?

No rule but I personally wouldn't make a habit of it as people will begin to think you're doing it just for extra points. Many times two answers can be combined within one but answering twice every once in a while shouldn't be a big deal.

If you are new to AB you will find that some people are very touchy about points. For some extremely odd reason no one cares if you ask 100 idiotic questions on the main board - but give two SEPARATE superbly reasoned answers to one question and you become a maniac terrorist with a machune gun and bad breath trying to "hog" points - as if they are in limited supply. Go figure?

I sometimes give multiple answers to questions. It's got nothing to do with the points for me, just my answer will change depending on what mood I'm in. Perhaps they should make it so you can only give points to a persons 1st answer.
